Living Life to the Fullest

Clipped Wings

I have been compared to a bird with clipped wings when it comes to my ambition for travel and adventure. When I reflect on what it means to live a FULL life, it is about fostering relationships and experiences. Every time I am visiting a new city or country, I feel on top of the world. To me, traveling makes me feel like I am truly living life to its fullest.

“Would you not like to be sitting on top of the world with your legs hanging free?”

Lie in Our Graves, Dave Matthews Band

There is so much out there to see in this world and I have only scratched the surface! I can’t wait to discover the country around me. I have been to Europe and Africa, but have not traveled in the United States and Canada. This marks this beginning of my next great adventure! When was the last time you did something for the first time?

You only live once

With the age of 40 looming, and life long ambitions tugging at me, there’s a loud voice inside that says to get out and explore the world! That voice inside advocates living life to the fullest. You only live once! If I do not listen to this voice inside, I am concerned it will turn into a voice of regret.

“On the day that I die, I want to say that I was a man who really lived and never compromised. And when I live out my days until the very end, I hope they find me in my home, with my guitar in my hands.”

Adventure ahead, proceed with both feet first

This blog will be used as my planning guide, and offer as a resource to others who are starting the same journey. Come along with me on my next adventure! I hope to inspire you start an adventure of your own!
