The cloudy gloom of Seal Rock beach of the pacific northwest cultivated a new experience of exploring tide pools home of many unique organisms.
The rocky Oregon coastline cradles the cold crashing ocean. This unique topography beautifully joins together mountain and ocean views. In this particular climate, the ocean water is too cold to swim in year round. Although beautiful, this beach front access is unlike those experienced in warm humid North Carolina.

Tide Pools
The tide pools of seal rock beach were incredible. Brody was so curious and neither one of us knew what to think. The tide pools were so colorful and abundantly found all over the beach in the morning during low tide.
Seal Lion Caves
The Sea Lion Caves access was closed when we arrived due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. However this tourist attraction opened the day we were heading out of town, so thankfully we were able to stop and get some great views of the sea lions in their natural habitat. The noise in the cave sounded like a loud deep moaning of the sea lions groaning in unison.

Seal Rock RV Cove was hands down this campsite was my favorite of the entire trip! The pictures below are from our site #14, and end site with stellar ocean views for $81/night with full hookup. I could get used to this becoming my backyard for an extended stay!
